Beach House boasts

Beach House boasts around 13 guestrooms which are well suited for solo travellers as well as those that come in a group. We all know how difficult it is to find a hotel with the right kind of rooms that fit our needs. You don’t have to worry about this at the Beach House. The hotel has three kinds of rooms that accommodate a wide variety of requests, and yes, all of them offer splendid views of the island or the sea. 

Superior Double Room with island view: The superior room is massive and works best for families and friends. There’s a large double bed in the room, but the hotel can add another bed to accommodate more people. It comes with a private balcony. You might not be able to see the sea from this room, but you’ll be treated to a view of Dhiffushi’s lush landscape. 

Deluxe Double Room with sea view: If you came to the Maldives for a sea-facing view, you should opt for the deluxe double room. The room is as big as the superior room, though this one comes with two single beds. Don’t worry if you are travelling in a group; the hotel staff will try and add extra beds to the room. The room can accommodate at least three adults plus a child as well. 

Family room: The set-up of this room is similar to that of the Deluxe room. It is most suitable for families but even big groups can opt for this room. The room has one large double bed with two single pull-out beds. If you need to accommodate more people, worry not. The room is fairly spacious, so Beach House can fit in one more extra bed when required. Want a sea view as well? The Family room is set up on the terrace, so you can watch both the sea and the island all you want. Isn’t this just the perfect deal? 

All the rooms are air-conditioned and come with a balcony. You can also exchange your currency at the hotel premises.

How to reach

Dhiffushi island is not very far from Male city. When you are booking your flight tickets, make sure it is to the Male International Airport. From Male, it is quite easy to reach Dhiffushi. You can take a local ferry or a speedboat. The ferry to Dhiffushi from Male, however, may run just a couple of days a week. So, call the hotel staff at the Beach House to confirm the dates, so that you can coordinate accordingly. 

It takes around 1 hour to reach Dhiffushi from Male city by ferry. If you want to reach Dhiffushi faster, there are other ways. For instance, you can take a speedboat that will cut your journey by almost half. Speedboats will cost you more than a ferry, but it’s up to you whether you want to save time or money. In any case, both vehicles offer incredible views of the ocean. 

The best way to do this is to call the hotel. Beach House offers an airport shuttle to its guests provided they are informed well in advance.

Beach House has created a universe within the hotel premises. This means that you don’t have to go out looking for help with anything you need. The hotel offers a variety of activities like live music, water sports facilities, and guided excursions. Water sports lovers can rejoice: Beach Hotel’s trained instructors will help you take your first dive in the Maldivian waters. Whether you want to scuba dive or snorkel, you can explore the underwater world any way you like. If you need more excitement, you can go canoeing and even windsurfing.

Policy

The check-in time at Dhiffushi starts at 12 P.M.; you can check in anytime until late at night. You can also check out anytime before 10 in the morning. While children can stay at the Beach House, children above the age of 9 are considered adults in the content of the room and bed charges. 

Smoking is not allowed in the hotel and neither are pets. Cancellations would depend on the date and type of room selected at the onset.

Even glass bottles are reused. Of course, the bottles are sterilised before being given to guests. A filtration system is available at the premises so that guests have to use fewer plastic bottles.
