Whether you are travelling alone, with your family, or with friends, Point Inn has a space for everyone. The hotel has four different kinds of rooms depending on what you wish for on your vacation. 

Deluxe Double Room with Free Airport Transfer: This room comes with one large double bed and can accommodate up to three people. You get a view of the beautiful young city of Hulhumale. What ensures the best use of your money, the price of this room also covers your trip from the Velana International Airport (Male International Airport). Not only do you get a fantastic room, but you also do not even have to worry about figuring out how to reach Point Inn. 

Superior (Grand) Double Room with Sea View and Free Airport Transfer: This is the best deal you will get at Point Inn. The Superior Double room comes with one single bed and one large double bed. At its maximum, this room can accommodate around four people, which is perfect for families and large groups. The best part? You get a sea view; you, can gaze at the sea all you want and at any time of the day – and night. This room also comes with the added advantage of a free airport transfer. 

Superior Queen Room with Bathtub and Free Airport Transfer: Wouldn’t it be great to soak yourself in a tub of warm water? If that doesn’t take the stress away from your life, what will? The Superior Queen room comes with a bathtub for you to splash in, and a queen bed for you to sleep in. It can also come with an additional single bed. The room can accommodate up to three people. A free airport transfer is also included with the price of the room. 

Superior Twin Room with City View: This room is perfect for couples and solo travellers unless you want you desperately want a sea view or a bathtub. The room has two single beds and offers a view of Hulhumale city. 

All the rooms come with a desk, television, toiletries, and closets. The rooms are soundproof and while they are non-smoking rooms, there’s a designated smoking area in the hotel. You can also use the hotel’s ironing and laundry services. The hotel offers 24-hr security and has safety deposit boxes to store your important belongings.

How to reach

Point Inn is located in the heart of Hulhumale city, which is why it is probably the easiest place to reach in the Maldives. Unlike having to take multiple ferries and speedboats to reach the many resorts and hotels in the Maldives, you can access Point Inn via a land vehicle. 

Hulhumale city is just 15-20 minutes from the Velana International airport in Male city. There are many local taxi services you can avail of right outside the airport, so travelling wouldn’t be so confusing or difficult (or expensive for that matter). You can also take a local bus, but then you’d have to take a separate trip to the hotel from the Hulhumale bus stop in that case.

Most rooms at the Point Inn already come with a free airport transfer perk. Point Inn will take care of your journey to and from the airport if you’ve booked some of their deluxe or superior rooms for free. Do not worry if you book a room that does not come with a free airport transfer; Point Inn will still offer airport transport, although at a separate cost. 

Experiences

There’s something special about Hulhumale. Until before 1997, the island was just a lagoon on the northwest coast of Male. But the Maldivian government reclaimed the land and created Hulhumale island, which was inaugurated in 2004. How radical is that? 

The city is also very close to many beaches. This means that you can enjoy many water sports activities. The Point Inn also arranges for many of these water sports activities in and around the Hulhumale beach. There are water sports facilities available with the hotel; you can explore the underwater in a variety of ways: snorkelling, sea walking, and scuba diving. Point Inn will also guide you if you want to go canoeing and wind-surfing. 

Apart from water sports, you can experience Hulhumale city and Male city by going on walking tours arranged by the hotel. If you want an intensive tour specifically focussing on Maldivian culture, the hotel can arrange for that too. 

Policies

Before you book your room, please read through the policies for specific rooms. If you cancel your booking, the price for some rooms is refundable up to a certain date, but for some, the price may be non-refundable. 

The check-in time at Point Inn is from 1 P.M. until midnight. You can check out any time until noon. 

While there is no age restriction for children, provided they are not the ones who have made the bookings, anyone above the age of 6 is considered an adult for the purposes of a room and bed. The hotel also provides extra beds upon request, but that comes at a separate price. 

You cannot check in to Point Inn if you are below the age of 18 unless you are travelling with adults. While you need to use your credit card at the time of booking your room, Point Inn only accepts cash. Pets are not allowed at the hotel. 

You need to inform the hotel staff at Point Inn at least a few days before your arrival so that they can make proper arrangements before you arrive. 

Why stay here

Point Inn is close to everything you’ll ever need in the Maldives. The beaches are close and so are various tourist spots in the city. You can take a walk around the city and experience the culture of the Maldives first-hand. Male city is also very close and is home to many fancy eateries. 

You can also go for an island-hopping trip and explore the many inhabited and uninhabited islands across the Maldives. The hotel staff will eagerly help you with your trip as well. When you don’t feel like going out anywhere, Point Inn has an amazing terrace where you can just sit and relax, and, of course, enjoy the waves rushing into the shore at the Hulhumale beach.
